On May 29, 2026, President Trump signed an executive order titled “Realigning United States Core Childhood Vaccine Recommendations With Best Practices from Peer, Developed Countries” endorsing a scientific assessment done earlier this year by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) calling for a reduction in the number of recommended vaccines for children and adolescents in closer alignment with other peer nations and for federal health agencies to align their policies with the findings of the study.1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Recommended Childhood Vaccines Down to 11
The study, released on Jan. 5, found that the United States “recommends more childhood vaccines than any peer nation, and more than twice as many vaccine doses as some European nations.” It determined the U.S. should only recommend giving vaccines to children for 11 diseases. These include vaccines for measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib), pneumococcal disease, human papillomavirus (HPV), and varicella.2
Additionally, the study determined that recommendations for vaccinating children against COVID-19, dengue, influenza, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, meningococcal ACWY and meningococcal B, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and rotavirus should only be made for certain high-risk groups or when doctors recommend them under a “shared decision-making” process with parents.2
Trump’s executive order directs the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and its Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) to review the DHHS “scientific assessment and the latest clinical data” and “take any appropriate steps to update the United States childhood and adolescent vaccine schedule.”1 It states:
[I]t is the policy of the United States that the core childhood vaccine schedule should be aligned with scientific evidence and best practices from peer, developed countries while preserving access to vaccines currently available to Americans and that the Federal Government will continue to protect religious freedom and enforce all legal protections for parents.1
“After an exhaustive review of the evidence, we are aligning the U.S. childhood vaccine schedule with international consensus while strengthening transparency and informed consent,” said Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. “This decision protects children, respects families, and rebuilds trust in public health.”3

Great news! When will a person be protected if they choose not to have all childhood vaccines and yet want to make a career as a doctor?
Is there a plan for hospitals to be mandated to stop requirements of employees to be fully vaccinated which would rid the need for the exemption form process and their ability to deny the exemption?
Great news! With the combo shots that means the kids will only need to be hauled in once or twice for the barbarism ritual. ‘Vaccination shows strong long term growth potential’ business plan took a major dive. Somewhere a pharma executive just kicked office furniture and threw a stapler at their secretary, office windows are shattered. “Sir the board is on hold, they’re talking about replacing everyone, half of upper management was fired yesterday. They want to talk to you right now.”

I believe that this is the ONLY thing the trump administration is getting right. Our children are getting too many vaccinations at a young age. Alignment with other countries and informed consent are important.
What about that DTaP and TDaP

Any idea what happens in the 4 states that currently do not allow vaccine exemptions? Does this EO supersede state vaccine laws?

I too was born in 1946, and I remember that when I filled out papers for employment I would specify that I had all (what they then called) the “typical childhood diseases” such as measles, mumps and chicken pox. Having my immune system battle the real viruses meant that I was protected from getting them again. And now they know that folks like us have stronger immune systems and less likely to even get cancer. They had hoped that the vaccines would work the same but they don’t. I believe that I got the polio vaccine. But we know now that the first polio vaccine actually caused polio breakouts. We also know that it was most likely toxins from spraying of DDT for insects that caused the polio outbreaks. Except for a Tetanus shot that I was talked into after an injury I have refused any vaccines. But, like me, you are, or will be, 80 this year. HAPPY 80TH BIRTHDAY!!! We have a lot to be grateful for.
Sadly, executive orders are only temporary. After Trump leaves office, the next bunch of losers will reinstate ALL vaccines and then some.
This is a great start, a lot more needs to be done, like proving the safety and effectiveness that these vaccines actually prevent the disease itself and prevent the spread. Most of all, proving they are actually safe. Also make it mandatory that any medical professional who administers vaccines have the parents/guardians watch “An Inconvenient Study” prior to giving any vaccines; as well as publicly release the results from “An Inconvenient Study” and accept it as peer reviewed factual science. No one in their right mind would get their children, let alone themselves “vaccinated” ever again until this has all been done. Religious and Medical Freedom for All. Stop giving vaccines in the hospital after a baby is born as the parents do not get any counseling about them at all as part of the birthing process and the baby is way too young. If all this happened, then the incidents of SIDS death would be significantly lower, if any at all. We would actually have healthy children without any chronic diseases. Great job Pres Trump and Sec Kennedy! Very Brave men for doing this! Keep it going! I am surprised big pharma hasn’t tried to unalive them yet…….
Nice but tell the full truth. ALL vaccines are poison (Pres Trump even posted this w a short video on his social media awhile back) & NONE of them are necessary. And God gave free will to all of humanity – the right to choose yea or nay. The government’s job is to protect & enforce our rights, not trample all over them or disregard them altogether. A strong immune system & homeopathy is this family’s choice. It’s proven to work, no vaccines needed.
I totally agree with you all vaccines are poison as far as I’m concerned. Homeopathy is the answer to heal ailments. Pharmaceuticals are the root of evils. It’s all about profits, not our well beings.

We waited that long but it was a mistake for her to get it at all. (My first son died of meningococcal at 2 years old in 1983 within 10 days of getting the new at the time HIB (which was halted and revamped and restarted in 1985, coincidently at the same time that the protections against litigation for the pharmaceutical companies was in put in place. I didn’t know about any of that until a few years ago.)
